A Million Little Things Season 3, Episode 16 recap: Gina and Rome And while I’m not on board with ultimatums like that, I get where he’s coming from. He’s been patient through the whole process but he can’t wait forever. Realizing she has trust issues, she asks Alan to take things even slower than they have, but he’s not having it. The person he was texting was the guy with the cart, and not some random woman like Katherine assumed. Alan remembered a story that Katherine told him about eating ice cream in the park, and he wanted to surprise her with it. Katherine tells him what happened with Carter and as she is in the middle of “confronting him”, a guy shows up with an ice cream cart. He shrugs it off which prompts her to prod the situation a bit more. Later on the date, Katherine point-blank asks Alan who he’s texting while he’s on his phone. There are a lot of trust issues there, and they’re really starting to show. It throws Katherine off, especially given the situations she’s been in with Eddie. Before the date, Carter (Sam Pancake) shows Katherine that he made her a dating profile and while on the app, they see Alan’s profile. Katherine and Alan (Terry Chen) go on their first date during this week’s episode, and it’s not off to the greatest start. A Million Little Things Season 3, Episode 16 recap: Katherine and Alan Where does this leave Gary and Darcy? Tune in. And why wouldn’t she? Gary didn’t ask her before Eddie moved in, and as she points out, she always imagined that she would be Gary’s roommate. It turns out that Darcy’s company has a position in the city her ex wants to move to, and she is seriously considering going. Before splitting up, they promised that if either of them ever had to move away that they would only do so if the other could–for the sake of Liam (Mattia Castrillo). That hurt may now manifest in a sad way because her ex-husband wants to move away for a job. Darcy has been extremely cool through their whole relationship, so I get why she might be hurt by this. In fact, he didn’t ask or consult with Darcy at all before bringing Eddie over. But while he’s been a great friend, the entire situation isn’t suitable for his and Darcy’s (Floriana Lima) relationship. Gary has been an amazing friend to Eddie, especially this season with taking him to rehab and then having him move in so he can see Theo. But more on that later.Ĭlearly, there is a lot to talk about when it comes to this week’s episode of A Million Little Things Season 3, so let’s get right into the major moments! A Million Little Things Season 3, Episode 16 recap: Gary and Darcy Unfortunately, the cost of giving Eddie some happiness is coming at a great cost to Gary (James Roday Rodriguez). Things have been so chaotic with their family, and while Eddie has made mistakes, he loves Theo beyond belief. I was also happy to see Eddie get a win with Theo (Tristan Byon). Sophie makes a lot of progress with the help of Rome, someone she can entrust more than anyone because he understands where she is coming from. However, this week’s episode isn’t all gloom and doom. It’s been a difficult year for everyone, and as we inch closer to the end of the season, it’s clear that things may not get resolved before the season closes out. Regina’s (Christine Moses) restaurant is being hit by a lack of customers, Rome (Romany Malco) has been dealing with the emotional repercussions of the Black Lives Matter movement, Eddie (David Giuntoli) and Katherine (Grace Park) are getting divorced, and Sophie (Lizzy Greene) is dealing with the trauma of her assault. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, things have been chaotic for everyone. A Million Little Things Season 3 gives us an incredibly emotional episode as members of the group finds themselves at their wit’s end.
